New Bombardiers to Expand Uganda's Routes

With the coming of the new aircraft, the Uganda Airlines will expand its route network to different destinations for better service delivery. The arrival of the two additional bombardiers is a national pride for Uganda.
According to reports, the new bombardiers will cover more destinations in Southern and Central Africa, having launched to Nairobi, Dar Es Salaam, Mogadishu, Bujumbura, Juba and others.
The move is aimed at promoting tourism in the country by using names of the tourist attractions as a move to lure tourists. Recently, Uganda hosted the 6th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (CPC) that attracted a number of guests from member states. The bombardiers were instrumental in the transport sector.
The first batch of aircraft was named after the Uganda Kob and the new ones will be named 5X KNP meaning Kabalega National Park and 5X KDP for Kidepo National Park.
According to the Transport Minister Eng. Monica Azuba, Uganda also expects two Airbus planes in the year 2020 to beef up the fleet. The National carrier received the first batch of aircraft two months ago as the Country is reviving the Air transport.
This shows that the NRM government under the leadership of H.E President YK Museveni is committed to serving Ugandans and propelling into greater heights.
